I was trying out a new menu for Get Hooked.... shrimp poppers =) taste was good but the cost is a bit high.... tried cooking the shrimp whole and small bits.... I think bits are better

Food keeps us alive, people eat to live, but for some of us... we live to eat. I have always been a food lover. I love to cook them, taste them and eat them. I have never thought of making a food blog until tonight so I will be posting some that I have made and tried from my recent travels. Ingredients
*lettuce leaves, tear with hands (I used romaine and butterhead, but iceberg lettuce will do)
*kani ( himay mo nalng by hand =))
*canned tuna in veg oil (I used century for this)
*onions (sliced, optional)
grapes (optional)
dressing:
juice of one lemon
1 tbsp dijon mustard
2 tsp vinegar
1 tbsp honey
olive oil
salt
pepper
procedure for the dressing
1.whisk together lemon, vinegar, dijon mustard and honey in a bowl.
2. add olive oil a little at a time while whisking to emulsify (para ndi magsplit yung oil and liquid)
3. whisk until desired consistency, medyo thick dapat (around 1/4 cup to 1/3 cup olive oil usually)
4. taste. and then season with salt if needed then pepper.
if you want the dressing to be sweeter you can add more honey =) ...
kung gs2 mo ng mas maasim pwede mo add more lemon or vinegar, then maybe add more olive oil to make the dressing thicker
* what's important is the dressing.... yung salad you can put whatever you want, pwede mong add ng carrots or celery or cucumbers if you want or mangoes, suha pwede din.. or instead of tuna pwedeng chicken .. ikaw bahala =) basta ang nagpapalasa naman yung dressing =)
* for the extra dressing you can store it in the refrigerator in a sealed container for up to 2 weeks, tapos pwede ding marinade for your chicken or pork tapos grill mo nalang =)
